Our Programs
We aim to bring joy and healing through music.
Children in pediatric hospitals are often there for weeks, months, or years at a time. Amp Ur Room Brings concerts, DJ’s, and entertainers directly to bedsides to create special moments for the patient, their family, and the performer.
Recent visits have included pop supergroup Fifth Harmony, mega vocal group Pentatonix, rising duo Maddie & Tae, Hollywood actor Will Arnett, singer/songwriter Alec Benjamin, Grammy Award-winning jazz keyboardist Robert Glasper, Beyonce’s own Chloe x Halle and background singers The Mamas, and Houston’s beloved big band The Suffers, among others. We’ve also had artists like country superstar Luke Bryan and Hailee Steinfeld send inspiring videos to patients.
Amp Ur Room DJs provide hands on music entertainment and an immediate escape for children who spend their day battling a multitude of health issues. From bedside parties, hospital parties, at home birthdays and recovery milestones AUR DJs are there to deliver energetic private concerts for kids in and out of hospital environments.
